NIE Networks says power has been restored to nearly all of its customers following Storm Darragh. It said 15 customers still require more complex repairs but that "generators have been provided to ensure they have electricity until permanent fixes are completed".

However, it flew off on Saturday evening as Storm Darragh hit the city. The mug has been the subject of an ongoing planning row with East Cambridgeshire District Council, and while the pub had agreed to remove it in January the storm appeared to do that job for them.

"We've been given some cake from another local business, because their fridges were out over the weekend." A few residents in St George's and Priorslee, Telford, had been without running water since Saturday after the storm affected a water pump in the area.
