By Philip O'Connor (Reuters) -Sweden captain Kosovare Asllani scored one goal and made another as her side cruised into the knockout stages of the women's European Championship with a 3-0 win over Poland on Tuesday that eliminated the Poles.

Sweden advanced to the quarterfinals at the 2025 Women's Euro by beating Poland 3-0 on Tuesday, a result that also sent Germany through to the knockout rounds from their group. A hat trick of headed goals by three different players was fair reward for relentless attacking down Sweden's right flank that left the overmatched Poland defense exposed.

Germany and Sweden both reached the quarter-finals of Women's Euro 2025 on Tuesday after respective wins over eliminated Denmark and Poland which maintained both teams' perfect starts in Switzerland.From there Germany were uncontainable and Schueller popped up in the right place to stroll onto Jule Brand's easy pass and maintain Germany's perfect start to the tournament.
