Israeli military jets hit alleged Hezbollah weapons smuggling sites near the border crossing between Lebanon and Syria, according to officials, who allege the Lebanese militant group violated a ceasefire agreement.

The Israeli Air Force (IAF) said on Thursday it attacked a weapons depot belonging to the Hezbollah militia in southern Lebanon, despite the ceasefire between the two warring parties. According to Israeli media reports,

"The Israeli enemy is attacking those returning to the border villages," Fadlallah told reporters, adding "there are violations today by Israel, even in this form". The Lebanese army later accused Israel of violating the ceasefire several times on Wednesday and Thursday.
