A Kansas babysitter got the shock of her life when she found a man hiding under a child’s bed. The incident happened at about 10:30 p.m. Monday at a home near Great Bend. The babysitter was putting the children in her charge to sleep when one of them said said that there was a monster under the bed.

Kansas and Ohio health officials have confirmed several measles cases among mostly unvaccinated children and adults, as the total number of states reporting measles outbreaks reaches 18.

Twenty-three measles cases have been reported in Kansas, and the state health department said they could be linked to an ongoing outbreak that has infected at least 379 people across Texas, New Mexico and Oklahoma.
