Two Kentucky police officers who were injured in a shooting fatally shot a suspect when he gained control of an officer’s weapon

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. (AP) — Two Kentucky police officers were shot and injured early Wednesday at a mental health center. The officers were being treated at a hospital for injuries not considered life-threatening, according to Ronnie Ward, a Bowling Green police spokesperson.

A man got ahold of an officer’s gun and shot two cops, then was shot dead himself, Kentucky State Police said.

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) - Lexington Police are investigating an overnight shooting that damaged multiple vehicles near UK’s campus. Officers say they were called to the 500 block of S Upper Street near Winslow Street around 1 a.m. EST. They found multiple vehicles that had been hit by gunfire.
