The Land of Oz is located at the top of the Beech Mountain Ski Resort. At over 5,500 feet above sea level, it’s the highest town east of the Rocky Mountains, and the weather is temperamental.

Land of Oz said they hope to reopen the festival in 2026 but must first conduct a thorough evaluation, reviewing guest experience, operations, infrastructure and overall event stability.
