The House Democrat from Irvine accused Julian Willis in court filings of bombarding her with hundreds of messages that she described as 'persistent abuse and harassment.'

Outgoing Rep. Katie Porter has received a temporary restraining order against her ex-boyfriend after she told a court that he had sent over a thousand messages to her, her family, and her staff, intending to cause “significant harm” to her image.

Outgoing Rep. Katie Porter has filed a restraining order against her ex-boyfriend for allegedly bombarding her with a slew of abusive and threatening messages in a bid to cause “significant harm” to her public image -- including one falsely claiming she had genital herpes.

Julian Willis’ alleged threats to leak “false” information to the press “poses a serious risk to my career and personal reputation,” Porter wrote. Willis said the filing was an effort to preempt his own claims against her.

Irvine, was granted a temporary restraining order this week against an ex-boyfriend she contends subjected her to “persistent abuse and harassment” that put her in fear for her safety.
