Puget Sound Energy pushes back power restoration times due to severe storm damage

Citing substantial damage to the electrical system from the hurricane-like winds that blew through western Washington this week, Puget Sound Energy said some customers on the Eastside may not have power restored until early next week.

The company maintains that its customers without power in Whatcom, Skagit, Island and Kitsap Counties are expected to get their power restored by 6 p.m. Friday, Nov. 22. The small number of Pierce County outages for PSE have individual restoration estimates, the company says.
