It’s a big reason why the Rangers had a three-game winning streak earlier this week. That all changed Thursday night against the Calgary Flames, when they allowed a season-high 49 shots on goal and were out-attempted by a whopping 90-53 in a 3-2 road loss.

Alexis Lafreniere and Will Cuylle scored for the Rangers, who were outshot 49-29 and had their winning streak ended at three games.

The Flames came out on top in the third period to hand the Rangers a 3-2 loss and end their three-game win streak.
