DISCUSSION: Scattered showers and storms are likely once again this afternoon across East Texas. High temperatures will climb into the upper 80s to near 90 degrees with lows tonight falling into the low to mid 70s.

An approaching cold front will ramp up moisture midweek, we'll see increasing cloud cover with scattered showers and storms developing from late morning into the afternoon.

Thursday, July 10, will spark the return to mostly sunny skies and afternoon temperatures in the mid-90s.
