Olympic champion Clement Noel has dominated the opening run of a men’s World Cup slalom and positioned himself for what would be his second win in two weeks.

The American ski star might even get the one win she needs for the milestone in what is like a home race for her in Killington, Vermont, which hosts a giant slalom and a slalom next weekend.

If Shiffrin holds on to her lead in the second run later Saturday, she will have five chances to earn her 100th victory during a North American sweep of the World Cup starting next week, with stops in Killington, Vermont; Mont-Tremblant, Quebec; and Beaver Creek, Colorado.
