A SWAT team was called to South Fayette after the sheriff's office said deputies had to "take positions of cover" while serving an eviction notice.

An Allegheny County Sheriff’s Office spokesperson says this situation started when deputies tried to service an eviction notice on the 1300 block of Oakridge Road in South Fayette.

PROVO, Utah (KUTV) — An attempted eviction notice resulted in a SWAT situation in Provo. Police said a SWAT situation at a motel on 40 West 300 South started when a constable of the court was trying to serve eviction papers to a man Monday.

Sheriff’s deputies were “attempting to serve an eviction notice” in South Fayette on Oakridge Road when “the situation quickly deteriorated” with shots reportedly being fired at officers.
