The Witcher 4, the very unofficial name for CD Projekt Red’s Project Polaris, is in full production, the company announced in a brief finance report

Polaris, the project name for the next The Witcher title, has just hit an all-important milestone in its development process. Director Sebastian Kalemba has taken to social media in order to reveal that the game — commonly referred to as The Witcher 4 — is now in "full-scale production".

Poland's CD Projekt said on Tuesday it had entered the production phase of its planned game in the blockbuster Witcher universe, as it posted a 61.5% drop in third-quarter net profit. CD Projekt faces a couple of years without a major video game release and its revenue for the upcoming quarters will be mainly from sales of existing games.
