Sunil Gavaskar lavished massive praise on Team India's young batting sensation Yashasvi Jaiswal, after his impressive show with the bat on Day 2 of the Perth Test. The left-handed batter bounced back in style after registering a duck in the first innings and went on to hit an unbeaten 90 at the stumps.

Yashasvi Jaiswal has become only the fifth opening batter for India ... The other batters are Ravi Shastri, Virender Sehwag, Sunil Gavaskar and VVS Laxman. Amongst them, Sehwag (2003 and 2008) and Gavaskar (1985 and 1986) have achieved the record.

Yashasvi Jaiswal looked all at sea during the first innings of the Perth Test match. He was unable to deal with the cannon balls fired at him in tandem by the Australian pace bowlers and bagged an eight-ball duck.
