Good news came for former Tennessee baseball product Garrett Crochet on July 6, as he was named to his second MLB All-Star Game.

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — Former Tennessee Volunteer standout Garrett Crochet is officially a two-time MLB All-Star. On Sunday, the MLB announced its 2025 All-Star rosters, and Crochet — now leading the league in strikeouts — earned his second career selection.

Chase Burns (0-1) made his second MLB appearance for the Reds. He made his MLB debut against the Yankees on June 24. Burns did not record a strikeout in 1/3 of an inning. He allowed five hits, seven runs (five earned), two walks and one home run. The former Vol totaled 33 pitches (22 strikes) against nine batters.
