Teams with three losses could qualify for the playoff, something Nick Saban is not fond of. The retired coach especially dislikes teams that have loss to "average" opponents.

Nick Saban said there is only one team in the SEC that can make a College Football Playoff argument with three losses: Georgia. The Bulldogs have losses to Alabama and Ole Miss this season, but clinched a spot in the SEC Championship Game.

"Because (of) their win over Georgia," CFP selection chair Warde Manuel said. "They won against Missouri. They've beat South Carolina and they won at LSU in a dominant fashion. So when you put those four wins against, you know, Mississippi and what they did ... when we compare resumes, that's how we saw it."
