EAST LANSING, MI – Decades after being struck by lightning, a large dawn redwood stands tall and proud at Michigan State University, serving an example of a species once believed to be extinct.

To celebrate 50 years since Sigona’s founding as a roadside fruit stand, the Redwood City and Palo Alto stores will hold a cake cutting and meet-and-greet party April 26.
