Saturday’s ACC title bout will be SMU’s third straight postseason matchup that will feel like an away game. It played on the road at Tulane when it captured the American Athletic Conference title in a 26-14 win this week last year. It also played at Fenway Park against Boston College in its bowl game.

In total, 19 football players earned All-ACC honors: three on the first team, two on the second team, three on the third team and 11 were named to the honorable mention list. Running back Brashard Smith, defensive tackle Jared Harrison-Hunte and safety Isaiah Nwokobia were named to the First-Team All-ACC.

SMU has had a historic first season. The Mustangs are heading to the championship game in their first year in the Atlantic Coast Conference. Fans are excited and making plans to attend the game.
