Anthropic's Claude AI introduces 'Custom Styles' to adapt to users' writing preferences, offering three presets and the option to upload personalized content. This development follows a $4 billion investment from Amazon as competition with ChatGPT and Gemini intensifies.

In a newsroom post, Anthropic announced the release of the Custom Styles feature that will make this process easier. The new feature is available to all users across all platforms. To use it, users can go to Claude and see a new quill icon added at the bottom of the text field, next to the AI model selection button.

Users can now upload pieces of text they would like to imitate, and Claude.ai will create preset writing styles they return to later.

Claude AI is giving you new ways to style and customize the text output. With a recent update, Claude can now analyze a sample of your writing and try to mimic it. You should find a new menu in the Claude text box that lets you “Choose Style.
