Two-year-old child among dead in 'kitchen knife' stabbing in southern Germany
The adult victim — a 41-year-old passer-by — died while trying to shield the children from a man slashing at them with a "kitchen knife" in the city of Aschaffenburg, in the southern province of Bavaria, about 11:45 am local time, Bavaria's regional interior minister Joachim Herrmann said.
