Retiring President Biden loaded up his family Tuesday for a final Thanksgiving on Nantucket island — returning to the pricey Massachusetts destination after kicking back at billionaire David Rubenstein’s compound there every year while in office.

President Joe Biden and the first family are headed back to Nantucket to celebrate Thanksgiving. The holiday travel is a longstanding tradition of the Bidens, dating back to 1975. Though the first family stayed home due to the pandemic in 2020, they returned to the charm of November in New England in 2021, and have been back each year since then.
