The business end of the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup has given us three of Europe’s biggest clubs in the semifinals, and a surprise packet from Brazil in the form of Fluminense.

Germain moved a step closer to another trophy with a 2-0 victory over Bayern Munich in the quarterfinals of the Club World Cup on Saturday, a game marred by a gruesome injury to young German star Jamal Musiala.

Among the stars competing in the FIFA Club World Cup are Inter Miami's Lionel Messi (Argentina), Bayern Munich's Harry Kane (England) and Real Madrid's Kylian Mbappé, all of whom are expected to star for their countries at the 2026 World Cup.
