Devon and Cornwall is set for another day of dangerous weather as Storm Bert caused the Met Office to issue two yellow weather warnings for the region - for both wind and rain.

Heavy rain and thawing snow are combining to bring flooding across the UK as Storm Bert continues to batter the country.

The second named storm of the season battered the country on Saturday, bringing snow, heavy rain and flooding. More than 300 homes in Lancashire were hit by power cuts as high winds and rain swept across the county.

Storm Bert is battering Devon and Cornwall with flood warnings in place, fallen trees across the region and many properties without power. The Environment Agency has issued 13 flood warnings and 33 flood alerts for Devon,
