U.S. Senator Mike Braun will deliver his farewell speech on the Senate floor on Thursday at 2:15 p.m. eastern time. Braun’s term in the U.S. Senate will end on January 3, 2025, and he will be sworn in as Indiana’s 52nd governor on January 13.

It was the “honor of [his] lifetime” to represent Indiana in the U.S. Senate. But, U.S. Senator Mike Braun, R-Ind. said he made the right choice to come home. Braun, who was first elected to the U.S.

Braun has promised to bring a business mindset as Indiana's next governor, campaigning on his years building an auto parts company in his hometown of Jasper.
