GAINESVILLE, Fla.-- After spending nearly half a year committed to the Florida Gators, four-star tight end Tae’Shaun Gelsey of Jacksonville (Fla.) Riverside High School has switched his commitment to Florida State after signing with the Seminoles on Wednesday.

Mike Norvell and the Florida State Seminoles have landed another verbal commitment for #Tribe25. After losing a handful of commitment to the rival Florida Gators, the Seminoles just struck back, adding a blue-chip offensive weapon that the Gators fought hard to keep.

The addition of 4-star OL Tavaris Dice is a big one for the front line in Florida’s 2025 early signing day haul.

While the Seminoles won't be in the postseason this year, they can end the year by taking down the Florida Gators (6-5, 4-4) in the Sunshine State showdown during rivalry week. Kickoff is set for 7 p.m. at Doak Campbell Stadium.
