Israel has halted all humanitarian aid to Gaza after militant group Hamas rejected a revised proposal to extend the ceasefire that lapsed early on Sunday and condemned the latest plan as “manipulation”.

Israel stopped the entry of all goods and supplies into the Gaza Strip on Sunday and warned of “additional consequences” if Hamas does not accept a new proposal for an extension of the first phase of a fragile ceasefire.

Israel said Sunday it has stopped the entry of all humanitarian aid into Gaza following the expiry of phase one of the ceasefire deal and Hamas’ refusal of a US-backed extension.
