Wildfires have forced evacuations at two national parks in the U.S. West. Black Canyon of the Gunnison National Park in Colorado closed Thursday after lightning sparked fires on both rims.
The White Sage Fire near the North Rim has grown to more than 19,000 acres, authorities said, while the nearby Dragon Bravo Fire has burned at least 5,000 acres.
The White Sage Fire has burned 19,153 acres, and the nearby Dragon Bravo Fire has burned 1,500 acres. Neither of the fires has any contamination.
