Luka Doncic has been under criticism for his fitness with the Dallas Mavericks, and that may have carried over to the Los Angeles Lakers.

That was the logic behind a trade proposal from ESPN's Tim McMahon on the Friday, May 2 edition of the "Brian Windhorst & the Hoop Collective" podcast, when McMahon suggested the Lakers pursue a second consecutive deal with the Dallas Mavericks after trading Anthony Davis for Doncic back in February.

Luka Dončić's pregame routine includes taking three half-court shots, with some incentives baked into the practice—if he makes one of them, the Los Angeles Lakers' assistants out on the court do pushups, per ESPN's Dave McMenamin, but if he misses all three he does the pushups or body squats himself.
