Mark Consuelos recently stripped down for a Stuart Weitzman campaign as its first-ever men’s global brand ambassador. Consuelos and his wife, Kelly Ripa, announced the big news on the latest episode of their chat show,

The actress described an issue her husband is dealing with and suggested he follow the habits of her former co-host.

The “Live with Kelly and Mark” co-hosts reflected on how Consuelos proposed to Ripa in 1996 before jetting off to Las Vegas and eloping.

If Mark Consuelos hadn't earned the title before, he certainly has now. On Friday, Nov. 22, the actor and host, 53, was unveiled as Stuart Weitzman's first-ever male global ambassador. The iconic brand launched its men's collection earlier this year.

"I was like, what? Are there shoes involved in this?" Ripa laughed as photos of Consuelos nearly naked flashed on screen. "Yes, shoes. Shoes and underpants!"

It turns out that said lack of carbs was in preparation to become “the first ever Stuart Weitzman Men’s Global Brand Ambassador,” which Ripa eagerly announced on this morning’s show. She then treated viewers to some pictures from the photoshoot, which feature Consuelos donning the brand’s boots and not much other clothing.
