Mercedes announced plans to launch Mythos, its latest sub-brand, earlier this year. The new line will sit atop of the automaker’s portfolio and will produce ultra-exclusive vehicles that combine the best aspects of its powerful AMG and opulent Maybach models. And, based on the first look at the finished AMG PureSpeed, it will do just that.

Mercedes-Benz has launched the PureSpeed speedster, the first car in its limited Mythos series. With just 250 units globally, it blends AMG performance, F1-inspired safety, and bespoke design features.

Revealed as a concept back in May 2024 the F1-inspired Mercedes-AMG PureSpeed is now ready for the road. It’s the first car in Mercedes’ Mythos series, which will be made in very limited numbers and sold to the company’s most loyal customers.

The speedster features a Halo system like that found on Formula 1 cars.
