COLUMBUS, Ohio — Ohio State is preparing for the College Football Playoff, but fans looking to watch the Buckeyes in 2025 can start planning ahead. On Wednesday, the Big Ten released its football schedule for next season. For Ohio State, it includes an uncommon trip.

Ohio State begins next season’s Big Ten football schedule on the road. The Buckeyes open at Washington on Sept. 27, the first of three road games over a span of four weeks, as announced by the league on Wednesday.

And yes, Ohio State will be a part of that after putting together a solid body of work to be included in all the fun. The Buckeyes will most likely host a first-round game at Ohio Stadium and there’s a good chance they will play the Tennessee Volunteers unless there are some major shakeups with the conference championship games.
