A Boston Red Sox rookie who had some strong words about the New York Yankees earlier this season has suffered a huge injury.
Crochet revealed Friday afternoon that he won’t pitch in the 2025 MLB All-Star Game on Tuesday. He’ll go to Atlanta with teammates Aroldis Chapman and Alex Bregman, but Crochet will be just a spectator for his second Midsummer Classic.
In Crochet's first complete game of any sort, he allowed three hits, all singles, and struck out nine while not allowing a walk. “It’s incredibly satisfying,” he said.
