Harlequins and former England prop Joe Marler announced his retirement from professional rugby on Wednesday.

Former England and Harlequins prop has announced his retirement from professional rugby at the age of 34. Marler earned 95 international caps across 12 years with the national team, winning three Six Nations Championships.

Marler earned 95 caps for England and won three Six Nations titles (2016, 2017 and 2020). He was also an integral member of the squad that finished World Cup runners up in Japan (2019) and third place

England prop Joe Marler will call time on his rugby career this weekend after bringing forward his retirement. The Harlequins front-rower has announced that Friday night’s clash with Bristol at The Stoop will be his final match. Marler’s decision to hang up his boots comes less than a month after he brought his England career to an end.
