Samsung has resumed the rollout of its AI-driven One UI interface after a bug earlier this month left some people unable to unlock their phones. The company confirmed to CNET that it restarted the software push but declined to provide further details about the original issue.

Samsung is once again deploying its One UI 7 update to last year’s flagship Galaxy phones, with users worldwide reporting availability. The Android 15 update had begun rolling out earlier this month, only to pause for a week while Samsung rushed to patch a critical bug.

Some users in South Korea couldn't unlock their devices after installing the software. Leaker Ice Universe points to a problem with the Korean Galaxy S24 series firmware.
