NEW YORK -- New York is facing some cold weather this week, along with a little bit of snow, if you can believe it. You'll be feeling it out the door Monday with temperatures in the 20s and 30s. Wear multiple layers -- winter coats, hats, gloves and scarves -- especially if you're standing outside for an extended period of time.
NYC weather: December to start with cold blast; snow showers possible
According to the AccuWeather.com forecast, low temperatures will come in at 30-33 degrees Saturday through Thursday, then in the high 20s next Friday, Saturday and Sunday. High temperatures will register in the low 40s during the work week. The good news is that, despite the cold, it is expected to be mostly a dry pattern.
A frosty Alberta Clipper weatherfront could bring snow to City before the end of the week, though a cold rain is more likely.
