NFL Countdown cast dubbed themselves “Team Moss” Sunday in honor of Randy Moss, who announced Friday he had been diagnosed with cancer. Moss first announced on the show two weeks ago that he had a health issue that required him to wear glasses during the broadcast.

The NFL community has finally gotten some clarity on Randy Moss’s situation. The legendary wide receiver took to Instagram to reveal the condition he had been battling with over the past couple of weeks.

It was just last week Randy Moss said on ESPN’s Sunday NFL Countdown that he and his family “were battling something” internally, and that he was wearing his glasses on air — his colleagues did the same.
