The Tour de France riders face a stern test as the 112th edition of the race enters the Massif Central for the 10th stage on Monday, with 4,450 metres of climbing awaiting them.Following a tough and hectic opening week,

Jonas Vingegaard has predicted that there will be a general classification showdown the moment the road goes uphill on Bastille Day at the Tour de France. Stage 10 is set to be the first mountain test of this year's race in the Massif Central, with eight categorised climbs lining the route to add up to more than 4,500m metres of elevation gain.

Durango’s Sepp Kuss and Quinn Simmons were absent from the front of the Tour de France during Stage 7 on Friday or Stage 8 on Saturday. Neither rider finished inside of the top 40 in either stage.
