Wildfires raging near the Grand Canyon's North Rim have prompted evacuations, air quality concerns and the closure of the North Rim of the national park.
Authorities increased the size of the evacuation zone for the White Sage Fire north of the Grand Canyon on Friday morning.
The White Sage Fire is nearly 20,000 acres, growing almost 40 times in size in over 48 hours as the nearby Dragon Bravo Fire grows to 5,000 acres.
Evacuations have been ordered for the area north of Jacob Lake, in northern Arizona, due to the White Sage Fire.
Parts of the Jacob Lake area are under GO evacuation orders, and the North Rim of the Grand Canyon is also evacuating. The fire has grown to 19,573 acres.
