Oct 6, 2007 · LZ 586 is a great machine for sail work. I would pass on that one for holsters. That machine is really made to sew 92 thread all day long and I am pretty sure you can get 138 to run in it; 207 might work if you play with it a lot.

Sep 9, 2022 · The Juki Lu-563 is an older machine that the spec has being able to take a #18 to #23 needle, 135X17 for material or 135x16 for leather. This means it will accept threads sizes from V69 (Tex70) to V138 (Tex135). It maybe able to accept a # 24 needle to sew V138 in thick tougher material or V207 (Tex210) in thinner.

Oct 12, 2020 · Juki LU 562-563 is with minor differences (to my opinion improvements, such as e.g better lubrication arrangement etc) almost identical to Seiko STW8B, Consew 225/226 and Singer 111W152 (most propably the parent model) with plenty available documentation on the net (instruction manuals, parts lists and diagrams etc).

Oct 11, 2021 · Last comment on ZZ machines we have two Juki LZ-391's (can do straight only with knee lifter for presser and zig zag with knee lifter moved to bight width). The LZ-391's and 271's (ZZ only) are fine machines but keep the gears greased as the machine will start to run hot doing free motion embroidery if not.
