Oct 29, 2020 · Havent purchased it yet, will probably buy from John Lewis, the product spec only mentions one remote. Qled 43” came with two remotes, standard and the slim smart one. We tried the smart one and don’t like it. I am hoping the new tv would work with a button type, or even a universal one. Difficult to get through to John Lewis for answers.

I would welcome any advise regarding this, I'd love to have the One Remote back in action, but if this is not possible, I would like to know so I can stop trawling the internet for a magical solution.

May 3, 2019 · Once I setup the universal remote under the Samsung Souce setup page and using a digital (Phone ) camera I can see the IR light flickering in the front of Samsung one remote. So bassically you are adding an infrared function to the "one remote" controller. My Sonos Playbar is now controlled by the Samsung TV remote.

First, it takes a while pairing with our tv. It says to hold the back arrow and play/pause for three seconds until paired, but it can take us up to 20 attempts.
