Mar 12, 2021 · Dumfries House Estate is a brilliant day out for families. It is a stunning 2,000 acre estate near Cumnock in South Ayrshire with giant sequoia trees, outstanding play areas for kids, beautiful woodland walks, a huge manicured garden and a great cafe to boot.

There is so much to see and do for all ages, from leisurely walks to our exciting Adventure Playground next to the Coach House Café. The landscape is continually evolving with interesting garden areas, follies and sculptures to discover.

Our estate’s new-look Adventure Playground will fully reopen tomorrow! Featuring rope bridges, netting tunnels, two side-by-side racing slides, a tube slide, wooden educational games and a suspension bridge, the nature-based playpark promises a great day out for all the family.
