Apr 16, 2015 · I love me my deep fried pickles. I know in stores they now sell mozzarella sticks and other wonderful pub grub, but I have yet to find fried pickles. I tried making them myself but 1: it's messy 2: It's time consuming and 3: for some reason my breading isn't sticking like it does on the pre-mades. Any help? Note: I'm in Nova Scotia Canada.

Feb 12, 2011 · I used spears because there is a big bucket of them at the restaurant. Good call on the buttermilk. I did not spice up my batter in anyway, i was just trying to nail the texture and not have the batter fall off the pickles. With spears you have the skin side of the pickle which is pretty hard to get batter to stick to in the hot oil.

Mar 17, 2024 · I work for a company that hires independent agents to take customer calls for Pizza Pizza. I can confirm that deep fried pickles are not on the menu in other locations as well. This might be temporary. Sometimes the company's suppliers can't keep up with demand for a product, so PP goes looking for a new supplier. That could be the case here.
