My Surface Pro has a USB-A port. I have an adaptor for USB-C and a hyperdrive with a USB-C connector. How can I download a driver for the USB-C device as it will not connect currently.

It has just received an update. In checking the battery in settings I see the number at 44%. What does this mean?
