I have a 13" M4 iPad Pro with the Magic Keyboard for iPad Pro M4, and the trackpad is simply not working anymore. I tried connecting to an Apple Trackpad, but it also fails to function correctly even when connected to BT.

The past couple of nights I have closed both after using the iPad and the battery is only down a couple of percent overnight. Never had to do that on my M1 iPad - not sure if it is the iPad or maybe recent OS changes.

I really like the quad speakers for watching videos and the 120hz screen for reading pdf files but the used 2018-2021 ipad pro models are still out of my budget so I'm leaning towards the 2nd gen 12.9 and 10.5 ipad pros.
